On my undergrad, my poetry teacher made me throw snowballs at a wall, light fires and sword fight in the hopes that it would make us better writers.
Something must have clicked because I'm now a British Asian fashion blogger and digital lifestyle journalist based in London.
I’m obsessed with the intersection between fashion and internet/pop culture, empowerment through fashion and celebrating diversity in all its forms.

Journalism
I work as a digital lifestyle/entertainment journalist to afford essentials like Michael Bolton CDs, house plants and my Disney+ subscription. I’ve worked for a number of premiere lifestyle titles internationally, focusing primarily on entertainment, fashion, luxury lifestyle and internet culture.
I graduated from the University of Warwick's Creative Writing BA between 2011-2014 and then took a couple years out to work in journalism in Hong Kong. In 2016, I moved to the UK to do an MA in Arts and Lifestyle Journalism at London College of Communication and currently work for the Evening Standard’s Insider section - a vertical which focuses on entertainment, royals and luxury lifestyle.

I also disappoint my Filipino grandmother by writing poetry, instead of going to medical school. I've been published by Write Bloody, alongside my literary heroes Sarah Kay and Andrea Gibson, as well as by Cha: An Asian Literary Journal.
